About Sara Hill
Sara Hill is an expressive, intuitive landscape artist seeking to capture the experience of being alive in nature, especially here in the Pacific Northwest. She finds the ever changing nature of rivers a conduit or sanction to experiment and explore continual new ways of creating art. Most of her work seeks to merge inner and outer landscapes and is created primarily from memory, her impressions and her imagination. She lives near the river in Garden City and finds the trees along the riverbank, the mountains in the distance and the river itself a continual source of awe and inspiration. She is largely a self taught artist and has been a practicing psychotherapist for over thirty years.
